The Park-Recreation Council of South Strabane Township currently maintains four (4) parks for the enjoyment of our residents and their guests.
The Parks & Recreation Council meets the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 5:30 P.M. in the Municipal Building. These are public meetings and we encourage any resident who has an idea or comment to present then to the board or attend a meeting. .
The Parks & Recreation Council sponsors a variety of events that are listed on our Parks & Recreation Events Calendar. Click here for upcoming events and to like us on Facebook.
Also, the Council is always interested in volunteers to assist at Council -sponsored events, on an as-needed basis. Please call the Township office if you are interested in volunteering your time to help out at a Council - sponsored event.
